The environmental benefits of 3PINT are the most advantageous over all competitive processes due to application of low temperature technology which is environmentally closed, unlike oil change alternative and regeneration with reactivating adsorbents at 600 ℃, causing operational and environmental hazards. The product of 3PINT is re-refined oil, complying with IEC standards and specification for unused and recycled oils. Non-toxic waste is produced from the mobile plant, owing to de-chlorination and desulphurization reactions.
Technology is based on three NTI patents. These inventions enabled creation of 3 PINT as integral solution for the removal of all unwanted compounds from transformer insulating oils, such as PCBs, disulphides, S8 and oil ageing products in cost-effective way.
